PNSB has successfully persuited Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to create awareness and aboret to disseminate the treatment facilities throughout the country. Later on, Government of Bangladesh created forty five posts of different capacities in all old medical colleges. Till now, majority of the positions are already occupied by the qualified Paediatric Nephrologist. Five year MD (Doctor of Medicine) course of Paediatric Nephrology is going on from 2000 in BSMMU. After formation of PNSB in 2004, MD course was also opened in other institutes also, like Bangladesh Institute of Child Health (BICH) and National Institute of Kidney Disease and Urology (NIKDU).
